Questions on transmission media:
Does attenuation and delay distortion occur in wireless media?
Is fibre optic cable better than wireless transmission? if so to what extent?
Can we have wireless transmission of electricity?if yes, will it be cost effective?
Questions on NPA(Wireshark in particular):
Does WireShark work for wifi connection?
How to capture traffic flowing from same system in WireShark?
Can WireShark view encrypted data such as passwords?
Do we need to stop ongoing analysis to switch between different packets?

A1-YES,attenuation occurs in wireless media for example-attenuation affects the propagation of waves and signals in electrical circuits, in optical fibres, as well as in air (radio waves).
yes delay distortion also occur in wireless media..same example in radio waves-BY SHIVAM DUBEY(SUDHANSHU TEAM)CC19.
A2-fiber optic is better then wireless transmission because in fiber optic cable have no distortion, whereas in wireless transmission there is factors affecting like noises and distortion..BY SHIVAM DUBEY(SUDHANSHU TEAM)CC19.
A3-yes we can have wireless transmission of electricity.Wireless transmission of electricity have tremendous
merits like high transmission integrity and Low Loss (90 – 97
% efficient) and can be transmitted to any where in the globe
and eliminate the need for an inefficient, costly, and capital
intensive grid of cables, towers, and substations. The system
would reduce the cost of electrical energy used by the
consumer and get rid of the landscape of wires, cables, and
transmission towers. It has negligible demerits like reactive
power which was found insignificant and biologically
compatible.
It has a tremendous economic impact to human society.BY SHIVAM DUBEY(SUDHANSHU TEAM)CC19.
Yes wireshark can work with wifi connection actually it can work with any NIC(network interface card) jaust we have change the setting and select the suitable NIC .
i didn't get your question exactly ("How to capture traffic flowing from same system in WireShark?" ) but if your means is in one system without connecting to network , for example your pc at home, you can capture the package and recognize traffic at-least if you have connection to internet .
we can capture the some secure packet like user name and password and we can edit them but you can not see data of packet you can see just IP header of packet , because data of packet encrypted and hashed by secure formula which you can not decrypted .
no we don`t need stop the analyzing and swap between the packet during analyzing you can edit any the packet and observe the details of packet , but when you want save the captured packet you have to stop capturing and then save in to file .
